Nantes Creative Generations

Organisé chaque année à l’automne, le Forum se tiendra du 24 au 27 octobre 2023.L'ambition de cet évènement est de faciliter la rencontre et les échanges de jeunes porteurs d’initiatives citoyennes et  innovantes.
Pendant 4 jours à Nantes (France), les participants de tous horizons sont invités à :
    • Présenter un projet, une initiative  
    • Echanger des bonnes pratiques 
    • Développer des compétences dans le montage de projets en Europe,
    • Rencontrer de potentiels futurs partenaires en vue de la création d’un projet transnational, qui pourra ensuite être financé par le Prix de coopération
    • Débattre avec d’autres jeunes Européens
    • Découvrir une métropole de dimension européenne riche par son histoire et sa culture. Visites de lieux culturels et de la ville mais aussi  moments festifs seront programmés.

Afin de participer au Forum Nantes Creative Generations plusieurs conditions sont à respecter :
    • avoir entre 18 et 30 ans
    • vivre et/ou développer son projet dans l’une des communes de Nantes Métropole ou dans l’un des Etats membres du Conseil de l’Europe  
    • avoir un projet à présenter
    • remplir le dossier de candidature

Critères de sélection :
Chaque année, 30 projets sont présentés dont 10 de l’agglomération nantaise et 20 de toute l’Europe.
    • Les projets doivent contribuer au "renforcement du vivre ensemble", impliquer une démarche "citoyenne"et s’inscrire dans une démarche originale.
    • Ils peuvent répondre à des thématiques diverses : environnement, santé, éducation, culture, sport, dialogue interculturel, lutte contre les discriminations, media, etc.
    • Les projets doivent être des initiatives concrètes ( a minima à un stade avancé de réflexion ou en cours d'exécution)

 • Mars 2023: lancement de l'appel à projets NCG édition 2023
 • Date de clôture de l'appel à projets: 30 mai 2023, minuit. Pour la seconde phase de candidature, la date de clôture est la suivante : 20 août 2023 ou 20 septembre 2023 en fonction de votre lieu de résidence
 • Sélection des projets retenus par le jury: 14 juin 2023. Pour la deuxième phase, une réponse sera apportée au plus tard, mi-septembre 2023 pour les européens et début octobre 2023 pour le territoire.
 • Réponses apportées à l'ensemble des participants: milieu juillet 2023

        ◦ L’objet du mail devra comporter les éléments suivants [NCG Forum 2023]_NOMduProjet

• Le Forum débute le mardi en soirée et se termine le vendredi en milieu de journée.
• Les échanges se tiennent en anglais néanmoins présence d'un animateur franco-britanique,
• Les frais de restauration sont pris en charge ainsi que les trajets en transport en commun sur l'agglomération nantaise [titre de transport en commun tramway+bus].

Pour les Européens (dans la limite de 2 personnes présentes par projet) :
 • Prise en charge d'un hébergement d'une durée de 4 nuitées, dans la limite de 2 personnes maximum par projet,
 • Délivrance d'un pass Interrail par participant, afin de se rendre à Nantes.

Dans le cas où il n’était pas possible pour les participants d’utiliser le train, un remboursement sera proposé sur la base de 400€ maximum par personne (remboursement sous un délai de 6 mois à l'issue du Forum).

The Forum is the central element of NCG. It is held every year in the autumn. In 2023, it will be held from 24 to 27 October. The aim of the Forum is to bring together young people with innovative civic initiatives to meet and exchange ideas.
During 4 days in Nantes, participants from all backgrounds are invited to :
    - Present a project, an initiative
    - Exchange good practices  
    - Develop skills in setting up projects in Europe
    - Meet potential future partners with a view to creating a transnational project, which could then be financed by the Cooperation Award
    - Debate with other young Europeans
    - Visit an European city rich in history and culture but also take part in festive moments that will be organised.

In order to participate in the Nantes Creative Generations Forum, several conditions must be met:
    - be between 18 and 30 years old
- live and/or develop your project in one of the cities of Nantes Métropole or in one of the member states of the Council of Europe
    - have a project to present
    - complete the application form

Selection criteria :
Each year, 30 projects are presented, 10 of which are from the Nantes area and 20 from all over Europe.
- The projects must contribute to "strengthening community cohesion", involve a "citizen" approach in the broadest sense of the term and be original in their approach.
    - They can be applied to all types of themes: environment, health, education, culture, sport, intercultural dialogue, fight against discrimination, media, etc.
    - Projects must be concrete initiatives (or at least in an advanced stage of reflection if not yet implemented)
The call for applications is published every year from March to the end of May. A jury meets in June to select the participating projects. The selected project leaders are informed in July.

- March 2023: launch of the 2023 edition of the NCG call for projects
- Closing date of the call for projects: 30 May 2023, midnight. Please note that the deadline for the second application phase is 20 August 2023 or 20 September 2023, depending on where you live
- Selection of projects by the jury: 14 June 2023. For the second phase, a decision will be taken by mid-September 2023 at the latest for the Europeans and by early October 2023 for Nantes Métropole project leaders
 - Answers to all participants: mid-July 2023

- The Forum starts on Tuesday evening and ends on Friday in the middle of the day.
    - Exchanges are held in English.
    - Catering costs are covered  as well as public transportation
For Europeans :
    - Accommodation (4 nights) is booked and paid for a maximum of 2 people per project.
    - An Interrail pass is offered to travel to Nantes (maximum 2 people per project). In case it was not possible for participants to use the train, a reimbursement will be offered on the basis of 400€ maximum per person (reimbursement within 6 months after the forum).
